Nagata was an outstanding athlete who played football, basketball, and track for the Bobcats and later became the head coach of the Bobcats.
\nNagata joined the Eunice High staff in 1951 and took over as the Bobcats\u2019 head football coach in 1963.
\nHe went on to be named District Coach of the Year twice, in 1964 and 1966.
