An Honorary Hall of Fame is suggested so as to include those outstanding athletes that participated prior to the formation of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association. Prior to the formation of the LHSAA, there were no real rules or organizational guidelines to follow, therefore it would not be fair to compare those individuals’ accomplishments to the athletes who competed under the LHSAA rules and regulations.
Eunice High School placed a limit of 20 for inductees into the Honorary Hall of Fame. It was noted that all of those inducted into Honorary Hall of Fame would have probably met the LHSAA participation requirements and they were active students during the time of their athletic participation.
